Another police success story
Every now and then it’s nice to hear same positive news with all the negativity going round. The SAPS in Rustenburg area is really hitting a great success rate! Many positive success stories are coming forth showing that we can rest assure and have faith in our police. Even if we do not always realise it, they are there to serve and protect.
On Thursday, 4 April 2013, police arrested three suspects for Armed robbery, after they overpowered a 22-year-old male on the c/o Lucas and Leyds Street in Rustenburg on Wednesday, 3 April at 06:15. The victim was taken to a vandalised house in the area and his money was robbed, whilst he was pointed with knifes. After reporting the matter to the police, the suspects were traced and arrested. Ofentse Nojila(22), Letaro Motsimane(24) and Ofentse Tsholo (23) appeared before the Rustenburg Magistrates’ court on Friday, 5 April 2013 and were granted R800 bail each. Their next court appearance will be on 16 April 2013.
The Provincial Commissioner of the North West, Lt Gen Zukiswa Mbombo warned that criminal activities will not be tolerated. We should have faith in our local police. They are really doing a good job to keep criminals at bay. It is positive stories like this one that show us exactly that.
