Latest Movie Release – Escape from planet earth – 19 April 2013
Animated adventure in which prolific astronaut Scorch Supernova (Brendan Fraser) is well-known for pulling off seemingly endless astonishing heroic space-going feats and is considered a national hero on planet Beeb by the blue alien population.
When BASA’s strict chief Lena (Jessica Alba) tells Scorch and his quiet, by-the-rules brother, Gary (Rob Corddry) who is head of mission control at BASA about an SOS from a planet known to be dangerous, Scorch ignores Gary’s trepidation about traveling there and sets off on what he believes will be another exciting mission.
However, Scorch soon finds himself in a trap set by the evil Shanker (James Gandolfini) and Gary has to rescue not only his brother, but the entire population of his planet, including his wife Kira (Sarah Jessica Parker) and their son Kip, who’s eager for adventure just like his uncle.
